Maya A. Hall had the privilege of attending the OMEGA: Women and Power Conference. It was there that she met Eve Ensler, the creator of the Vagina Monologues, who was embarking on a new project. Once Eve explained One Billion Rising, Maya knew she had to bring it back to the college on Saint Rose.“This event is going to take the Saint Rose campus by storm”, said Maya A. Hall who is head organizer of this on-campus event. “Not only is this men and women coming together to celebrate, but it is forming a sense of community for a common purpose. It is time to STRIKE, RISE, and DANCE together as one.”
